Monday Night Update

Erin is keeping us on our toes. Today the top notch staff at Ochsner noticed Erin hasn't responded as well as she had late last week. They gave her a CT scan at around 1400. After reviewing the scan it was determined that she may be experiencing an increase in swelling. They will give her another scan tomorrow morning to decide whether or not to put in a shunt to relieve some pressure.
This is one of the setbacks the doctors have warned us about. We are staying positive that she will bounce back and continue to improve.

  1. Hang in there...think of it as a rollercoaster ride....UPS and downs.....Erin will make it through this!!!!
    Love you Dustyn...AND ERIN!!
    Jen & Tim

  2. I didn't know Erin personally at Chapelle since she was a year ahead of me. But I definitely knew of her. There are just some names that stick to a time and place in your memory bank and when I started hearing from different circles of friends about her situation, I immediately knew where I recognized her name. Some people just stand out like that. I feel compelled to let you know that I am keeping Erin and her family in my thoughts and prayers continually. I can tell from the sincerity of my friends' fb posts that Erin is a very special person. I pray that God sends the angels that watch over me to Erin and to help the many angels that already watch over her.

  3. Erin keeping us on our toes... isn't that the story of our lives. :)
    Love, Tatum

  4. Continuing to think and pray for her and all those who love her.

  5. Ups and downs I can live with, just want more ups than downs:) she's doing her best and the body is doing what it needs to recover as well! Always thinking of yall and praying.
    Love Trisha

  6. Just thinking about and praying for you and your family. Try to keep your spirits up, I know y'all can. Those Crossin girls always make me smile.
    Love Joey

  7. Just a little bump in Erin's road. She will climb over it I'm sure. Hang in there Erin and Dustyn. Keep the faith!!!!! Love yall.

I haven't seen Erin in many years, probably since Chapellettes in 1994. I had the pleasure of passing the office of Secretary down to her. I think of her several times a day and she is in my prayers daily. As an occupational therapist I know that she has a long road ahead of her. The tremendous amount of love and prayers and support that she has behind her will do awesome things! Keep fighting Erin!!!!
