Monday Update and Blood Drive

Erin is having another operation tomorrow morning. She will have her drain ran permanently. She is unable to regulate her ventricular pressure on her own. The doctors attribute her quiet weekend to this fluid build-up.
There will be a blood drive at Blessey Marine at 1515 River Oaks Road East in Harahan next Tuesday April 12th if anyone would like to drop by and give blood on behalf of Erin. I think the bus will be there at 0800-until? She has not needed blood since she came to the hospital but I have a new found respect for blood donation. Erin diligently gave blood as often as she could and was luckily the recipient of someone's donation.

  4. Hey Dustyn! I'm in! BTW...those that are interested in Erin's blood type...her type is B-. We used to always joke about our types because I'm B+. But I'm pretty sure that it doesn't matter. The number of people who donate is what counts the most.

  5. Yeh it doesn't matter what type you are to give in her name. Every unit for her gives her credit in the blood bank.

  7. For every pint donated at either the Blessey Blood Drive or the Blood Center in Erin's name, she will also receive monetary compensation.
